What Is Shortfill E-Liquid?
Shortfill e-liquid is vape juice that contains no nicotine and comes in a large bottle with empty space at the top. You add the nicotine yourself after buying the e-liquid by removing the top and adding one or more nicotine shots. After adding one nicotine shot to a 60 ml bottle or two shots to a 120 ml bottle, the e-liquid will have a final strength of 3 mg/ml. If you prefer e-liquid without nicotine, you can use shortfill vape juice as it is with no modifications or additions.

How to Shop for Shortfill E-Liquid
Ready to buy some shortfill e-liquid? Here’s how to do it.
- Pick your size. Shortfill e-liquid usually comes in two sizes: 60 ml (with 50 ml of e-liquid) and 120 ml (with 100 ml of e-liquid).
- Add nicotine shots. To reach a final nicotine strength of 3 mg/ml, a 60 ml shortfill bottle needs one nicotine shot. A 100 ml bottle needs two nic shots. If you prefer nicotine-free e-liquid, you can skip this step.
- Mix the e-liquid. Pry the nozzle off of the shortfill bottle and add one or two nicotine shots. Close the bottle securely and shake it well. Your e-liquid is now ready to use.
